Spiritual Teachers

In November of 2010, I sat in my meditation corner and prayed to God to show me the person who was supposed to guide me to the all-pervading bliss which is God. This wasn't just an everyday prayer. It was deep. It was real. It was one of the most sincere, desperate and hardest prayers I have ever made. And roughly one month after sitting in that space, I met my Spiritual Guide...Dr. Acharya Shree Yogeesh. He was born in Haryana, India to the Hindu warrior class, but was initiated as a Jain monk at the age of 14.He is a living, enlightened master and over the course of his lifetime, he has guided thousands of spiritual seekers and founded 3 ashrams, Yogeesh Ashram, New Delhi, Yogeesh Ashram, Riverside, California and Siddhayatan Tirth, Fort Worth, Texas and Acharya Shree Yogeesh Secondary School for Children in Haryana, India.

But before meeting  my Spiritual Guide, one of the most influential spiritual teachers on my path is his one and only chief disciple, Sadhvi Siddhali Shree.  I met her on my first visit to my ashram, Siddhayatan, when at the time Acharya Shree Yogeesh was not present. It was with her that I had my first "clicks" on the spiritual path. And it was with her that I connected with first. From her sincerity and good heart, she motivated and inspired me to walk and keep walking on the slippery path which is Spirituality.  She is a living example of what  I aspire to be, passionate, kind, loving and driven.
